Why is data important?
Data is the stuff mobiles process so we can read and send emails, watch videos, stream songs and the other things do on them.
The more you do online, and the more complex the things you do, the more data you'll get through.
Watching a film eats up loads of data. Sending a simple email without any pictures doesn't use much data at all.
You can choose how much data is included in your 4GEE phone plan and when you're abroad you can buy a roaming data add-on if you want to carry on browsing beyond your monthly limit.

Download the app so you can keep up to speed with your data use any time on your phone.
If you're getting close to your monthly limit, you can buy more data.
Add-ons control costs

You can add services to your account whenever you want.
If you're about to go over your data allowance we'll text you with a choice of add-ons to keep your browsing as cheap as possible.
When you're going on hols, we'll send you a text asking which data add-on you want to use.
Using the internet abroad can be pricey - this way we keep your data costs to a minimum.
