Learn about EE, Orange and
EE offers superfast 4GEE, the UK’s first mobile 4G network, and access to the UK’s biggest 3G network. It's the home of EE Film, Clone Phone, and exciting and innovative content add-ons that make it the brand for digital Britain.
EE was created by the team that first brought Orange and T-Mobile together in 2010. EE, the company, has committed to investing £1.4m a day until 2015 to roll out 4G connectivity so that EE, the brand, can offer the fastest mobile connections in the UK. And why? Because we want our customers to trust us with every aspect of their digital lives – and we’ve got the tools and the expertise to make this dream a reality. www.ee.co.uk
Orange is the brand that gives you all the extras you want with access to the UK’s biggest 3G network.
Launched from its Bristol HQ in 1994 - with DNA linking back to the creation of Microtel Communications four years earlier - Orange was the fourth company to enter the UK mobile marketplace. By 1996 its coverage reached 90% of the population and Orange plc became the youngest company ever to enter the FTSE 100, valued at £2.4bn and with one million customers. Orange was the first operator to launch mobile TV in 2005, the first to offer HD voice, and the Orange Wednesdays film promotion is an enduring success. www.orange.co.uk
T-Mobile offers no-nonsense value and access to the biggest 3G network in the UK.
After starting life as One2One, the brand was acquired by Deutsche Telekom in 1999. In 2002 One2One was rebranded as T-Mobile, and became the first network to offer picture messaging in the same year. T-Mobile has become as well known for its popular adverts as for its products and services - see youtube.com/lifesforsharing for details. www.t-mobile.co.uk
